How I Evaluate Products
A product doesn’t earn a place here simply because it’s popular, expensive, “clean,” or marketed as premium. I look at the questions that actually matter.
Does It Make Sense?
What does the evidence actually support, and is there a real reason to use the product in the first place?
What’s Actually In It?
I look at formulation, ingredients, sourcing, dosing, unnecessary extras, and whether the product makes sense for its intended purpose.
Can We Verify It?
Testing, certification, manufacturing standards, transparency, and what is—and isn’t—actually known all matter.
Is It Worth It?
Price alone doesn’t determine value. I look at practical usefulness, individual fit, meaningful quality differences, and what you’re actually getting for your money.
Sometimes the right conclusion is that you don’t need to buy anything.

Why it’s here: I currently use the unflavored version. It combines a simple whey-isolate formulation, strong protein density, recognized independent certification, recent independent finished-product testing, good transparency, and competitive value relative to comparable products I reviewed.
Important tradeoff: It’s dairy-derived and won’t fit everyone. Favorable testing for a specific product and lot also shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee that every future lot will be identical.
